Coronavirus Update

At a time when we need to stand together and support those that require our help, we also have the challenge of keeping ourselves and our staff/volunteers safe.

This is the first time in our 21 year history of providing aid, that all our operational teams have been grounded due to the Covid-19 strain of the Coronavirus. This has been a very difficult decision especially as so many rely on our daily aid provisions around the world.

We also have a duty of care to ensure the health and safety of our staff and volunteers at the front line, these people are often at an increased risk of contracting infections, due to the difficult operating conditions. However we are operating a skeleton service as well as utilising minimal local staff and volunteers across the world, to ensure the most vulnerable still receive some level of assistance.

We are hoping to be fully operational once the virus has peaked across the globe, which will then be a period of catching up for our organisation. We will require additional resources to at that time.
