Civil Rights of Indian Farmers

Khalsa Aid International is deeply concerned for the safety and welfare of Farmers, and those who are peacefully protesting and demanding the repeal of the three flawed and controversial agricultural laws.

There are disturbing images being seen across social and Indian media of police brutality and the state suppression of peaceful protesters, with brutal force being inflicted on protestors resulting in serious injuries.

As a global Humanitarian Aid Organisation, we appeal to the Indian authorities to adhere to Its Constitution and International Humanitarian Standards to enable the peaceful protest to continue. We request the Indian government to maintain discipline, peace and adherence to the Rule of Law, at all times.

Many of the Indian diaspora worldwide are becoming increasingly anxious for family members in India and are deeply concerned for their safety and wellbeing given the indiscriminate violence from the authorities.
